From Cold to Hot to Normal

The typical morning low this time of year is in the mid-40’s. Over the last four nights lows have varied almost 40 degrees:

We are watching another cold air invasion arrive next weekend. We could have some rather dynamic weather just ahead of it as a powerful upper-level low swings right overhead of us on Thursday and Friday. We have to wait and see how the long-rangeĀ models convergeĀ on this; some are even showing some “mixed” precipitation as the cold air sets in.

It looks like this cold air will be with us (and most of the nation) for the days leading up to Thanksgiving.

Right now we’ll include a 20-40% storm chance for Thursday and Friday. Highs on Saturday could only be in the 40’s… or about half the number we got THIS Saturday. North Texas in November!
