Santa Claus came to see us early this year! He brought us MeTV!
Now of course I am kidding about the Santa part but in all in seriousness we feel we got a great addition to the CBSDFW family.
MeTv is a 24 hour/7 day week television network that features shows from television’s “golden age”: the 1950’s through the 1970’s. Shows you remember like Bonanza, Hawaii 5-0, Perry Mason, Petticoat Junction, to name a few. Shows that your children and grandchildren can see without any worries of anything that may offend them….or you! And the best part of it is that it is free!! Free over the air, the way TV got its start in the 1940s. All you need is a TV set with an antenna. That’s all.
With the advent of digital TV, stations today can add as many as six “subchannels” on its digital channel. MeTV will launch Monday morning on KTXA 21.2. Since this is the first time we have used a subchannel for this purpose, you will need to rescan your channels on your set so that it can pick up KTXA 21.2. We broadcast with 1,000,000 watts of power from Cedar Hill TX from an antenna 1500 feet above average terrain so hopefully you will not have any problems but if you do, please let us know. We plan on setting a phone bank on Monday, December 23rd, to assist viewers who need help. But you can also email me personally at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be glad to assist you!
The channel number is 21.2. Our name is TXA21 and it’s all about MeTV!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family to yours. See you next time.
