Morning temperatures started in the 30′s but the ample sunshine pushed the highs into the upper 60′s. It was an absolutely gorgeous day to start our weekend.

I think we all know about the Polar Vortex these days. It plans to stay bottled up in Canada this week ahead. They’ll have some shots of very cold air into the Great Lakes and New England but for us the week ahead looks mild and dry. Here is the forecasted position of the Vortex by next Friday:
