AUSTIN (CBSDFW.COM) – Two men on the Texas 10 Most Wanted list were captured this month. Fugitive Anthony Lee Evans, 33, was arrested on Thursday in Big Spring; and Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender Alonzo Bradley Jr., 40, was arrested Sunday in Texarkana.
Evans, a known Bloods gang member with a violent criminal past, was arrested when the DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and the Texas Highway Patrol, along with the U.S. Marshals Service and Big Spring Police Department, located him at an apartment complex in Big Spring. He was taken into custody without incident. He was wanted for parole violation. The arrest was the result of a tip and a reward of up to $7,500 was offered.
Bradley was arrested in Texarkana on Sunday evening after turning himself in. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bi-State Jail in Texarkana for processing. Bradley has a violent criminal past, and was wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration and failure to appear.
These arrests bring the 2014 arrest total to four for the Texas 10 Most Wanted program.
