NTX saw a line of strong storms develop this morning between 7am-10am ahead of the dryline and a pre-frontal trough. We did have some hail reports across parts of the metroplex.
The dryline near 10:30 AM is just now approaching the metroplex but I don’t expect any huge development along the dryline.
The cold front is now lagging behind the dryline and is forecast to make it to the metroplex near the late morning to early afternoon hours. There is still the possibility for severe weather mainly east of the metroplex this afternoon. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 3PM for the counties in yellow.
