The morning showers and storms have worked over the atmosphere across DFW and areas north.  The threat of severe weather is low in these areas shaded in yellow (See map below).  The only thing that could change that is if we see lots of sunshine in the next couple of hours and temperatures can recover into the upper 80s.

The threat of severe weather remains high for areas south and southwest of DFW.  On the map below the area south of the outflow boundary is where severe storms are possible.  Large hail, high winds, and isolated tornadoes are possible in this area.  The window of time for storms in this area is 4pm to 9pm.
