There comes a time when the boys have to hit the town for a quality guys’ night out. We’ve got the ultimate plan for you, taking you from afternoon athletics to dinner and drinks. Not into beer, burgers and chill hangout spots? Leave a note in the comments and we’ll make some recommendations for you in an upcoming post!
8787 Park Ln.
Dallas, TX 75231
(214) 341-9600
Hours: Mon-Thu; Sun 9am-12am; Fri-Sat 9am-2am
Start your day with an afternoon at Top Golf, a driving range with a twist. Think bowling meets golf meets… well, drinking, of course! Challenge your buddies to a regular game of Top Golf and aim for targets across the course, or make it a bit tougher with competitive chipping or some serious golf action with their “Top Pressure” game. Try winning that after a few pitchers of Shiner.
2726 Commerce St (Crowdus Street)
Dallas, TX 75226
(214) 741-4406
Hours: Mon-Thu 11am-12am
Once you’ve worked up an appetite with all that “golfing,” hit the road down to Angry Dog on Commerce Street in Deep Ellum. There, you can have your fill of some of DFW’s best burgers and hot dogs, and wash it all down with one of the many different beers the Dog has on hand. Beware, though – the house rules are tough. No harassing single women, and definitely no touching the jukebox volume. Don’t believe me? Check their menu.
2624 Commerce St
Dallas, TX 75226
(214) 939-9900
Hours: Mon-Sat 11am-2am; Sun 12pm-2am
After you’ve gotten your fill on burgers and hot dogs, head just down the street to Adair’s Saloon. Odds are good there will be some kind of live music going on – they’ve got shows booked for almost every night of the week. Grab a can of beer from the bar, sit back (if you’re lucky enough to land a table) and enjoy the music. The crowd is usually eclectic, and the music is almost always country awesome.
831 Exposition Avenue
Dallas, TX 75226
(214) 827-3433
Hours: Daily 5pm-2am
Next, give your eardrums a rest at Amsterdam Bar in Expo Park. This bar has an amazing patio/beer garden out back, giving you plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy one of the many brews they feature on tap. If you’re there during the week, be on the lookout for European Bike Night – but you might want to brush up on your Vespa knowledge beforehand.
5818 Live Oak St
Dallas, TX 75214
(214) 823-2410
Hours: Daily 3pm-2am
Finish your night at East Dallas’s Lakewood Landing, which is about as ultimate a dive bar as you can get. Pool tables, wood paneling and a jukebox that looks like it hasn’t been touched since 1982. Lone Star by the bottle (and cheap, too!) and a patio outside with benches. If you’ve had a few and you’re looking to expand your social circle – head outside pronto.

Golf, beer, and food are only half of the night.
you forgot The Lodge and Clubhouse.
Amen, brother. Especially The Lodge. I have had many a good time there. I even met Gary “Bababooey” Dell’Abate there and had lunch with him.
