BP To Sell Part Of Its Gulf Of Mexico Stake To Chevron

BP is selling part of its stake in an emerging oil-producing region in the Gulf of Mexico to Chevron, and the two companies, along with Conoco Phillips, will work to develop the fields together.

Ex-BP Engineer, Texan Convicted On One Obstruction Charge

The first criminal trial produced by the Justice Department’s sweeping probe of BP’s massive 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico ended Wednesday with a jury convicting a drilling engineer of trying to obstruct investigators by deleting text messages from his cellular phone.
