Budget Cuts May Close Two Texas Poison Control Centers

The poison center in Dallas is one of six across Texas, supported entirely by state and federal funds. Texas lawmakers are considering whether to shut down two of the centers.

It was earlier this month that two North Texas high school students died after a night of drugs and alcohol in Grapevine. Monday the Medical Examiner listed both their cause of death as Mixed Drug Toxicity.
