Despite Lower Prices At The Pump, Fuel Surcharges Not Going Down

If gas prices go up, delivery companies charge you for the fuel. Okay. So if prices go down, you pay less, right? Wrong! You’re still paying the same amount and in some cases even more.

Experts: Texas Heading Toward A Transportation Crisis

Some experts claim Texas is headed for a transportation crisis unless the state comes up with more money for highways. The current gasoline tax paid when you fill up at the pump doesn’t come close to keeping up with building and maintaining Texas highways.
