A new smoking rule passed in Cleburne could keep children and teens out of some businesses. Simply put – if underage kids aren’t with parents, they don’t get in.
First it was bars, restaurants and office buildings. Now the the “No Smoking” battle has moved outdoors. City parks, college campuses and other outdoor venues are putting up signs telling smokers they can’t light up.
The City of Irving could soon join the list of other North Texas cities that have banned smoking. The push is coming from the Board of Health in the city. The smoking ban proposal is now being considered by the city council.
