Efforts Underway To Reunite Tornado Victims With Their Pets

Efforts are underway in parts of North Texas to find pets that were lost after this week’s deadly tornadoes. Volunteers and law enforcement officials are working to reunite owners with pets who’ve gone astray.

SPCA-Dallas DA’s Office Team Seize Cruelly Treated Dogs

Wednesday workers with the SPCA of Texas took custody of two cruelly treated dogs in Dallas. The seizure was the first for the new partnership between the SPCA and the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office’s Animal Cruelty Unit.

The SPCA Shelters 57 Dogs From Waco

The Humane Society of Central Texas sent 57 dogs from the Waco area to The SPCA of Texas Thursday night. Based in Dallas, the SPCA is taking the animals in to help free up space at local shelters near the explosion.
