Dallas Police Chief David O. Brown announced the termination of four DPD officers on his Twitter page.
Six police officers have been fired from the Dallas Police Department. Among the six are two officers who department officials said ignored pleas from abused residents.
A veteran North Texas special investigator with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, also known as CPS, has been fired after using racially inflammatory remarks on her personal Twitter account.
“The simplest response I have is: I’m sorry. These two words seem very inadequate. But that is my heart. All I have been able to think about is the number of people I’ve let down by making selfish decisions.” said Petrino’s statement.
