The ‘pain at the pump’ has become somewhat familiar. Gasoline is now $3.00 a gallon, and even higher at some locations. But for the most part, drivers appear to have become ‘conditioned’ to the sticker shock.
What is 120 years old, has nothing to do with trains, planes or automobiles and oversees a chunk of the nation’s oil and gas activities? The Railroad Commission of Texas — of course. And now the agency is again trying to get its name changed.
