After years of back-and-forth negotiations, the issues of erecting natural gas wells and compressors in the city of Dallas failed late Wednesday afternoon at Dallas City Hall.
The debate over natural gas drilling is heating up again on Wednesday. The Dallas City Council is expected to vote on whether or not to give one company the green light to start drilling.
Members of the Dallas Plan Commission boarded a convoy of tour vans, and headed to the L.B. Houston Golf and Sports Complex, to see for themselves proposed sites for natural gas drilling on city-owned land.
