Dallas is definitely a cocktail city. People are always looking for new, creative, hand-crafted cocktails to complement the great food selections offered in the DFW area. Some of the best bars to get cocktails are hole-in-the-wall options with low prices that you would never think would have such a great cocktail menu. Others are upscale cocktail bars with small plates and high-class liquors. Whatever style you are looking for, you’re sure to find a great cocktail at these bars.

At The People’s Last Stand, the signature cocktails are the focus of the menu. The cocktails here are hand crafted and made with house juices, bitters, syrups, infusions and mixers. The food menu is crafted around the tastes of the cocktails and dishes are meant to complement the drinks.

While T&P Tavern does have a great list of beers on tap and bar food favorites on its new menu, there is also an extensive list of specialty cocktails created by the bartender that are served here. The martini list includes 11 unique recipes including the famous Elvis martini with peanut butter, banana and bacon. The tavern has a lot of history in Fort Worth and tries to combine those historic features while putting a modern twist on it with updates and modern cocktail recipes.
