In the middle of the Texas heat in DFW, where the city is known for patio and outdoor dining, a frozen cocktail is a great option. You’re probably familiar with the frozen margarita, but cocktails have become much more unique recently. These bars have some of the most unique and best-tasting frozen cocktails in the DFW area and are great options for the summer months.

As So & So’s states, it has a little something for everyone. The food offers a mix of fancier dishes and classic southern plates. If frozen cocktails are what you’re looking for, it has two great options on the menu including The So & So made with tequila, fruit juice and Red Bull and the Southern Slush made with Absolut Texas, mango, lime and ginger beer.

The Quarter Bar is associated with Bread Winners, an upscale yet casual restaurant. The summer months are a great time to head to Quarter Bar because it serves up its famous booze pops. These are frozen alcoholic popsicles which are great for enjoying on the patio on a hot day. The flavors will often change slightly each year but they are all very popular. You can also get an adult cherry limeade and a frozen Jack and Coke.
