Looking to take a photo? Sometimes you just don’t want to sit inside a photo studio while someone simulates an outdoor backdrop. Why not go outside and take in some of the beauty that Dallas has to offer? Here are five great places to take a photo with your family in the DFW area.

When thinking about amazing places to take photos, the first place that comes to mind has to be the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. With 66 acres of gardens and outdoor attractions, you can’t lose when looking for a beautiful backdrop to a family photo. But don’t limit yourself. From senior photos to graduation photos, anything is possible at the Arboretum. Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat while you’re there at one of the wonderful restaurants. Make a day of it.

This 110-acre garden spot is located just a few miles west of downtown Ft. Worth. This year, the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens is displaying art for your viewing pleasure inside the garden center. It’s always fun to make a day out of picture taking. The lower rose garden has beautiful water areas, along with a touch of European elegance. With so many gardens to choose from, you’ll want to get a map or maybe schedule a tour.

Looking for a unique photo opportunity? Lakeside Park is the place to go. Also known as Teddy Bear Park due to its wonderful teddy bear statues, this spot provides unique areas for photographs. You will stroll past the Turtle Creek Dam and beautiful landscapes. This 14-acre wonderland is located between Beverly Drive and Armstrong Parkway along Turtle Creek. Bring a camera and get ready to cuddle up next to a few teddy bears. Just don’t take any of them home with you.
