Ulta is the quintessential one-stop shop for beauty products. From perfume to nail polish, Ulta is a perfect option for perusing, or shopping with purpose. Ulta also offer a wide range of makeup options from inexpensive and mainstream varieties like Maybelline and CoverGirl, to mid-range brands like Urban Decay and Stila.
If you have a big event coming up, make sure to look into the salon services at Ulta. These services include skin treatments, hair color and styling & body waxing. To finish getting ready for your event, have one of the Ulta makeup artists create a polished party look for you.
My favorite product to pick up at Ulta is a gold (yes, I meant gold) nail polish called Luxe, by Orly for $7.

Like Ulta, Beauty Brands also carries a wide range and categories of products. But what really sets this store apart is its lesser known brands, specifically when it comes to hair care for both men and women. If you love to be the first person in your friend group with a fabulous new product, Beauty Brands is your new number one store. Beauty Brands carries cheap chic products and mid-range pricing options to accommodate a variety of budgets.
I love the Hempz Couture Color Protect Shine Spray at Beauty Brands for $19.95.

If you are on a beauty product budget, Sally Beauty Supply is the best store for you because it won’t break your bank! Sally’s has a large assortment of generic products that provide professional grade results. One of Sally’s lines that I love is L’Oreal’s Nature Therapy products. Both the price and results are fabulous!
Sally’s website also features monthly beauty tips for hair, makeup and skin, along with suggestions for solving the average girl’s beauty conundrums. Now that’s serious beauty service! And, if you are in the market for new beauty tools for your hair, nails or need new waxing supplies, Sally’s stocks the most variety.

Sephora is the Neiman Marcus of beauty supply stores. Specializing in makeup and perfume and ranging from mid to high pricing, you can find gorgeous products at Sephora, but definitely expect to drop some cash in the process.
If I am in the mood to splurge on designer beauty products, I love to visit Sephora for tips from their makeup artists on the pros and cons of each product and to test out the pricier items in store before I commit to the purchase. And if you are shopping for a new perfume, make sure to check out Sephora’s scent style program in the fragrance section. An electronic personality test will help you determine a few great fragrance options to compliment your personal style.
My favorite product at Sephora is the Diorskin Nude foundation for $46.
All four of my top beauty supply stores offer club cards that can help you save money and get great discounts. Just ask a sales associate for more information. Each store also offers gift certificates, which make perfect gifts for birthdays, holidays or other special occasions. And don’t forget to search online for electronic (if you are doing online shopping) or printable (if you are buying in the store) coupons. You can save a bundle if you take the time to google before you shop!
