GODLEY (AP) – Investigators say two bodies have been discovered in a rural North Texas home and the deaths are considered suspicious.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says the bodies of a male and a female were found Wednesday afternoon by deputies making a welfare check.
Lt. Tim Jones says deputies entered the home near Godley, about 25 miles southwest of Fort Worth, after not being able to reach anyone inside.
Names of the pair who died have not been released. The sheriff’s department, in a statement, described the case as “tragic” and asked anyone with information to contact the law enforcement agency.
Further details were not immediately available.
