Grand Prairie Police spokesman Eric Hansen said the sedan was traveling westbound on Dickey Rd. and crossing the northbound lanes of Highway 161 at 11:30 a.m. when the collision happened.READ MORE: Denton Police Mourning Passing Of Detective Rodney Mooneyham To COVID
Witnesses told police that the Chevrolet sedan ran a stop sign and “entered the path of the pick-up” truck. The driver of the truck, a 75-year-old Midlothian man, was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Grand Prairie Police are investigating the accident. This is the fourth fatal traffic collision in the city this year. Neither victim has been identified.
