DENTON (CBSDFW.COM)– Police find a man with several outstanding warrants hiding inside a beer cooler at convenience store.

Police were driving past a gas station on the 700th block of Fort Worth Dr in Denton, Wednesday, when they saw a red vehicle that belonged to a known offender with active arrest warrants.

David Benlage, 30, was hiding in the store’s cooler when police found him.

Benlage was arrested for a total of five warrants. Three form Denton County Sheriff’s Office and two issued by Highland Village police.  He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, police said.
