JOSHUA (CBSDFW.COM) – A Joshua Independent School District bus driver has been pulled from her route following allegations and an internal investigation. The decision came after a cellphone video began circulating on social media.

“And one of these days she’s going to clock off to the wrong person, and they’re going to clock her right back and put her a** in the dirt,” a can be heard woman saying in the video posted to Facebook.

The cellphone video does not show any faces, but the young woman who shared the 33-second clip on Facebook claims it is bus driver Donna Perkins who is speaking. “She needs to learn how to keep her mouth shut!” a woman’s voice is heard saying.

The post makes claims that the driver is talking to a 13-year-old girl and saying derogatory things about that teen’s sister.

The bus company, First Student, says it is aware of the video and taking the matter seriously. It has pulled driver Perkins from service and is conducting an internal investigation into the matter.

“My gut instinct was to stop playing it because my kids were in the room. It was just shocking,” said a North Texas mom who wanted to remain anonymous. Her children ride the bus in question.

In her original post, the young woman who shared the video claims there have been several complaints about the driver during the school year.

CBS 11 News asked First Student if the driver does in fact have a history of complaints, but a spokesperson said it could not share that information to protect employee privacy.

CBS 11 tried to give the bus driver an opportunity to tell us her side. She asked us to “go away” and threatened to call the sheriff’s department.

“What was done to make her feel like that was there something that led up to it?” wonders the mom, who says she’d never had any issues with the bus driver or the company before.

The video clip also made her wonder what else was said when the cellphone camera was not recording.
