Police say Kristun Madewell, 40, is 6’2″, 270 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he may no longer have the mustache seen in this 2010 mugshot.

Fort Worth police chased Madewell into Johnson County and lost him when he bailed out of his vehicle and took off toward a field on a rural ranch in Cresson.  Police say later he stole a gold pickup truck at a nearby gas station, which was equipped with some kind of tracking device, and they were able to locate him again.  They were tracking him for awhile, but he slipped police again when he also abandoned the truck near a wooded area near Hwy 171 and CR 1000.

Police assume Madewell is armed.  He is wanted in connection to the death of a 29-year-old man inside a south Fort Worth home last Friday.
