Carrollton Police say the drama began when they pulled over a silver car around 6:30 Wednesday evening.
“We figured out the car was stolen. The suspect fled. It led to a high speed chase, not a very long one but a very fast one, through this residential area,” said Jolene Devito with the Carrollton Police Department.
Police say the suspect ran a stop sign and T-boned Jorge Cabrera’s black SUV. The impact trapped Cabrera inside. Firefighters had to cut through the roof of the SUV to reach him.
