ARGYLE (CBSDFW.COM) — A construction worker was hit and killed by a vehicle outside Argyle High School on Tuesday morning, less than a week after a structure collapse resulted in the death of another worker.

The incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. Authorities have identified the victim as Daniel Moran, 22, of Haslet.

Witnesses of the incident called 911 to report the victim lying on the ground after being rolled over by an 18-wheeler. It’s unclear how the accident occurred.

On April 2, the steel frame of a building under construction on the campus collapsed, killing 36-year-old Julio Ledesma. Three other workers received minor injuries.

Investigators have not revealed what may have caused the structure to collapse, though an investigation by OSHA is ongoing.
