Police stated that the woman was then able to drive a short distance to a 7-Eleven store to seek help. She was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to be okay. According to her daughter, the victim had just gotten off of work at a factory assembly line and was on her way home.

The victim’s vehicle is already back in the Sunchase Park Apartments parking lot, but now with a trash bag covering the window. Broken glass covers the ground. Police told the victim’s family that the impact of the bullet on the window may have been what saved the woman’s life.
