DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas Police are searching for a man who tried to kidnap a 12-year-old girl — twice in two days.

Investigators released a sketch of a man who offered the girl candy trying to get her into his car.

That happened Tuesday morning on Denton Drive near Community Drive, by Love Field.

She ran away, but the attempted abductor came back Wednesday morning. The second time he grabbed her and pulled her behind an apartment complex in the same area. Again, she got away.

Police say on Tuesday the suspect was driving a dark colored four door car with a missing hubcap on the front passenger wheel.

On Wednesday, he was behind the wheel of a tan pickup that had been lowered. It also had scrap metal in the back.

The suspect is described as a Latin male, 30-40 years old, 5’08” medium build.   He has a star tattoo on the right side of the neck.

Call Dallas Police if you know anything about these attempted abductions.
