SAGINAW (CBSDFW.COM) – A man’s arm became caught in a piece of machinery at a food facility in Saginaw on Monday morning. It happened at around 9:00 a.m. at the CTI Foods factory located in the 500 block of Sansom Boulevard.
The 22-year-old man works at the location, and somehow got his arm trapped in a conveyor roller.
Emergency workers were called to the scene and MedStar confirmed the industrial accident. An air ambulance was placed on standby, but it was later disregarded. The man was already freed from the machinery once medical personnel arrived.
The man’s name has not been released. He was transported to a nearby hospital as a precautionary measure. He is expected to be okay.
CTI Foods is based in Wilder, Idaho. They have not responded to phone calls at this point.
