GRAYSON COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) — Three people were found dead in a burned house near Van Alstyne, north of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, officials say.

Van Alstyne officials received a 911 call around 2:30 p.m. Sunday about a house in the 100 block of Kepler Road, outside of Van Alstyne, that was on fire, according to Grayson County Sheriff’s Office. Fire departments responded and contacted the Sheriff’s Office, which sent deputies to the scene. When the deputies arrived, they found three people dead inside the house, the office said.

The causes of death are still undetermined, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and Grayson County Fire Marshal are investigating.
