Lynyrd Skynyrd is playing Winstar Casino Friday January 29.

♦ The Dallas Travel and Adventure Show is happening Saturday and Sunday January 30-31 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The Travel and Adventure Show will features live animals, cooking demonstrations, and travel experts from around the globe.

Shooter Jennings is playing Gas Monkey Bar and Grill Saturday January 30.

Dallas Bridal Show at Dallas Market Hall Saturday and Sunday (1/30-31).

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters World Tour stops at the AAC Saturday and Sunday (1/30-31).

♦ This is something a tad different. There will be a Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing at Luck Saturday through Thursday (1/30-2/4).

Krewe de Etoiles, (French for Krewe of the Stars) will help you get into Mardi Gras mode this Saturday at the Bomb Factory as they hold their Gala 2016 Masquerade Ball. The theme this year is “It’s A Zoo.”

♦ Dah, dah, daaaah, dah….Yes! Europe is coming to Texas…kinda. The 80’s rockers are fresh off their Geico tour and playing the House of Blues Saturday night (1/30). And no, they are not one hit wonders. They also had great songs like Carrie and Cherokee.
