Pajamas, popcorn and the possibility of a new pet

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – SPCA of Texas is hosting Parent’s Night Out 2016. However it’s the Kids’ Night In that is promising a whole lot of tail wagging fun.

Kids between the ages of 8 to 11-years-old are invited to bring their pajamas, sleeping bags and stuffed animals while the real animals will be provided.


Kids will begin the night touring the shelter and making toys for the adoptable pets. Afterwards kids can cuddle up and watch a movie with one of the shelter’s adoptable pets while enjoying pizza and popcorn.

SPCA is hosting this special event at its two shelters in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. The cost is $30.00 per child. 

  • Russell H. Perry Animal Care Center (February 13th and May 7th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.)

  • Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center (April 23rd and June 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.)

    Dallas, Texas 75212

Space is limited for these events and spots are available on a first come first serve basis.
