JOHNSON COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – Officials with the Cleburne Police Department say several people were seriously injured after a tractor-trailer and a passenger van collided on US-67 in Johnson County Sunday evening.

Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) shutdown US-67 at CR 1116 for about an hour. Northbound traffic on US 67 was detoured to Park Road 21.  Southbound traffic was detoured onto FM 1434.

All of the people in both people were transported to area hospitals. The driver of the semi was alone in the truck and taken to the hospital by ground ambulance. There were three people in the van, all had injuries so serious that air ambulances were called to transport them.

One person, possible the semi driver, was treated and released from the hospital. The conditions of the other three crash victims aren’t known.

Officials say the crash is still under investigation and an exact cause hasn’t been determined.
