The leather-bound album which she found along Highway 67 in Cleburne only has three baby pictures inside. Maynard believes the pictures and the album seem to be from 1950’s.
“It was a little scuffed up but it survived it and did okay,” says Maynard. “I would like to get it home. I would like to hear their story.”
Adding to the mystery of who it belongs to, Maynard tell us the album doesn’t have any names or identifying markers on it. Just the three black and white baby pictures.
The Godley resident says the mission to find the owner of the album is personal.READ MORE: FBI Calls Hostage Incident At Colleyville Synagogue 'Act Of Terrorism' Against Jewish Community
After her parents and brother died, she says all of her family albums went missing, and haven’t been seen since.
Her loss over those memories is fueling her drive to make sure whoever lost these photos gets them back.
