DALLAS (CBSDFW/1080 KRLD) – Dallas ISD police say an 18-year-old student created a fake Instagram account and used it to send a threatening photo to Patton Academic Center.
DISD Police Chief Craig Miller says Everrick Murrell is under arrested, charged with making a terroristic threat.
His Instagram post stated: “Attention!! Tuesday 02/16/2016 I will be arriving to school at John Leslie Patton Jr. Academic Center with a GUN!! Ready to shoot any and all students who have bullied me and I am willing to shoot anyone who tries to stop me from accomplishing my goal. I just want to let all the students and faculty to watch there [sic] backs on Tuesday. Just know I won’t stop at any means.”
Murrell is a senior and is charged as an adult, he could face up to ten years in prison.
He is being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,500 bond.
