WAXAHACHIE (CBSDFW.COM) – Waxahachie police have arrested four Dallas men accused of driving a stolen truck into a gun store, and stealing more than a dozen weapons.

Xavier Kirvin, 19, and Ardell Virgillo Cherry, Demarcus Dillard and Devon Deontae Jennings, all 17, drove a stolen truck into the side of the Shooter’s Edge store off U.S. Highway 287, according to police.

“They collapsed one of the exterior walls and once they were able to get a hole in the wall, they ran in and grabbed about 17 firearms,” said Waxahachie Police Lt. Todd Woodruff.

He said the weapons stolen include 12 handguns, three AR-style rifles, one AK-style rifle and one shotgun.

“So far we have recovered three handguns taken in the burglary. They may be coming up sporadically as the investigation continues, but we still have about 14 we are trying to find” said Lt. Woodruff.

All four teens were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

Kirvin’s bond was been set at $75,000. The other three have bonds set at $100,000.
