DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Following a technical glitch that caused a system-wide outage Wednesday, Southwest Airlines updated the public on its status Saturday by saying “things are getting better.”

Southwest Airlines went on social media to apologize to its customers and said, “Make no mistake, Southwest Airlines created this problem… We own that.”

Southwest Airlines also said, “There will be no victory lap,” and that it appears most of the technical issues have been resolved.
