BENBROOK (CBSDFW.COM) – Benbrook Police released a photo and details Thursday, October 13 on a 21-year-old man who was reported missing on August 26.

Police said Chaney Hawthorne’s family reported him missing on after not seeing or hearing from him for a few days in late August.

On August 31, what was believed to be Hawthorne’s vehicle was recovered in Bowie County,

Benbrook Police are working with investigators in Bowie County and the Texas Rangers to locate Hawthorne who is listed as 5’11”, 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Information has been sent to communication centers in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana to notify surrounding law enforcement agencies of this investigation.
