Everman Police Sgt. Craig Spencer said a school resource officer was investigating some activity on campus when a vehicle pulled out “at a high rate of speed and driving erratically.”

The officer followed the car from a safe distance, not initiating a chase, but by the time he got to the vehicle, it had already crashed, according to Sgt. Spencer.
