FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Lifeguards performed CPR after a dad pulled his 5 and 6-year-old daughters from a Heritage neighborhood pool in Fort Worth Tuesday, according to Fort Worth Police.

MedStar said the lifeguards gave the girls CPR and both went to the hospital but are said to be in good condition.

The pool was shut down for a few hours after the two unconscious girls were pulled from the water.

Police said the girls’ father was doing exactly what he should have been doing… carefully watching his girls.
