It shouldn’t be omitted that this event also helps give back to the community, specifically, the GAABA Scholarship Fund which benefits students of the Dallas ISD. Attendees can expect over 100,000 people to come out so be ready. The parade covers about two miles and has almost 100 floats to entertain and enchant. For those determined to work off the traditional St. Paddy’s Day suds and eats, sign up for the St. Paddy’s Day Dash Down Greenville 2018. In its 24th year of action, participants will run or walk down Greenville to warm up the path for the following parade. They can fuel up on drinks, snacks and even live music to warm the muscles and the soul. The dash supports the North Texas Food Bank so bring a friend and register to do some good and celebrate together.
