NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – The North Richland Hills Fire Department said a body was found following an apartment fire Monday afternoon.

It’s not clear how the victim died.

On Tuesday, the medical examiner identified the victim as Bradley Wayne Morton, 41.

The fire happened at the Hilltop Apartments in the 6400 block of Iron Horse Blvd around 2:00 p.m.

The roof of one of the apartment buildings collapsed.

Four units were destroyed in the three-alarm fire.

A neighbor in another apartment building saw what was happening and ran over and started breaking windows to help get people out.

The estimated structural loss is $600,000 according to the North Richland Hills Fire Department.
