FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – A woman was killed in a crash involving a car she was in and a school bus in far North Fort Worth on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

It happened just before 5:00 p.m. on Blue Mound Road just south of State Highway 114 along the Justin-Fort Wort border near Northwest High School.

Northwest ISD said at the time of the crash, there were no students on the bus, and the bus driver did not report any injuries.

The bus was returning to the NISD transportation facility following its afternoon route, traveling south on FM 156 near Northwest High School.

Northwest ISD and the district’s transportation provider, Reliant Transportation, are cooperating fully with investigators, the school district said in a news release.
