Matt Yurus

Matt Yurus is a digital anchor based in Dallas/Fort Worth, telling stories for CBS’ local news stations’ websites across the country.

After receiving his Master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, he got his start at WUSA9, the CBS affiliate in Washington, D.C. There he worked as a field producer, MMJ and reporter.

Matt is a lawyer turned newsman. He earned his law degree from George Mason University, passed the New York Bar Exam, and began his career as a legal fellow for a U.S. senator on Capitol Hill.

He’ll save the rest for when he meets you!
