Hopdoddy got its start in 2010 and has been a big hit in DFW since then. The name comes from blending great beers (hop) and the nickname given to the native cow in Scotland (Doddy). If you’re a fan of burgers and beers and are looking for a relaxed but fun environment, this is a great choice. Freshness is key here, which is why they grind their antibiotic/hormone free black Angus beef in house every day, they bake their own buns, and they cut their own fries. You’ll find the classic styles of burgers, as well as some different flavors such as the “Buffalo Bill,” which is a bison burger. There are also plenty of local beers from small batch breweries to enjoy as well.
