With the weather warming up and the sun coming out, a patio seems like the best place to be to enjoy the weather and a drink with your friends. Whether you’re out for brunch, a good burger, a craft beer, or cocktail, nothing seems to go better with that than good Texas heat and a nice view. There are plenty of patio bars in DFW but these are the best around.

Ozona was named after a small town in Texas, and is known for many things, one of which is the great patio space. On the weekends, they have the popular build-your-own bloody mary bar and brunch, which is great for enjoying outside in some nice weather. The menu includes yummy southwestern flavors and the list of signature drinks and cocktails go great with the food. The wooden outdoor patio makes you feel like you’re at a friend’s house enjoying a great party on the lawn, which creates the perfect, relaxing environment.

This little bar is a neighborhood gem with an eclectic atmosphere. None of the glasses, chairs, or couches match and that’s how they like it. The huge outdoor patio area features a lot of trees, a basketball court, ping pong, a big screen TV, and an outdoor bar. That means that you don’t have to go far to get yourself a drink. It’s not a big bar so this is a perfect place to make some new friends. They recently opened the kitchen so that you can now get some great food to go with the fun drinks they serve here.

Blackfriar Pub
2621 McKinney Ave.
Dallas, TX 75204
(214) 953-0599

The Blackfriar Pub is an Irish pub with Irish owners. The pub is located in what used to be an old house right on the bustling McKinney Avenue. The owners converted what use to be the front yard into a beer garden that is great for enjoying a beer and watching the street. The interior is decorated with eclectic decor and ornate woodwork, but the real party happens outside on the patio. The view is great and it’s perfect for enjoying some beautiful weather.
