Happy hours are great times to get good deals on those delicious cocktails, but where should you go? With so many choices, it’s often difficult to decide. The Gin Mill has a very rare happy hour – a happy hour on Friday. Gin Mill happy hour (Tuesday through Friday) features flatbreads for half-off and $6 Gin Mill burgers that pair well with 20% off wines and dollar-off drinks. As the name would lead you to believe, this is a great place to go if you’re a fan of gin cocktails. The best day to go is on Thursdays when it features $6 classic gin cocktails like a Sloe Gin Fizz, Tom Collins or French 75.

The happy hour Monday through Friday gives you the opportunity to enjoy $2 off cocktails for two hours. The menu is always changing so you have the opportunity to enjoy a large variety of drinks, but the Victor Tango with tequila, cucumber and lime juice is a great one to try. If you’re with a group of friends, you might want to try sharing one of the punchbowl options like the traditional pisco punch.

Chino Chinatown offers what many might think would be a strange fusion of flavors for its food and drinks, but it actually seems to work. Not only is the fusion of flavors unique, but so is its happy hour. On Tuesday evenings, Chino features a particular spirit brand. Starting around 6 p.m., a brand ambassador hangs out at the bar ready to answer questions about the particular brand and Chino’s features a cocktail with the spirit for $5 all night.

www.parliamentdallas.comParliament is a craft-cocktail den in Uptown Dallas. The idea for parliament came from mixologist Eddie “Lucky” Campbell and boasts a list of more than 100 mixed drinks. The atmosphere here is pretty swanky with a French feeling. The upholstery is plush and there are chandeliers dripping with crystals. If you’re looking for a fun happy hour that includes great drinks, head to Parliament on Monday for “Machavellian Mustache Monday” where you can borrow a faux mustache or bring your own and enjoy the featured spirit or cocktail for $5.

On Tuesdays, it has bocce ball tournaments that start at 7 p.m. and there are some great cocktail offerings to go with that. Try a Moscow Mule for $5 or a $3 margarita. If you’re not a fan of bocce ball or can’t make it on a Tuesday, head over on Thursday and you can still have yourself a delicious margarita for only $3.
