Often there are times when a person wants to head out for a drink, and none of their human friends are available to join them. Luckily, there is a number of bars in the DFW area that allow man’s best friends to accompany their owners for a few drinks. These establishments include neighborhood bars and outdoor patios that allow people to have some drinks, while their dogs are more than welcome to join them. Here is a look at some of the best dog bars available in the DFW area.
The Dubliner

dallasdubliner.comThe Dubliner is a traditionally styled Irish pub in Dallas that sells a good selection of craft and import beers, as well as whiskeys. The Dubliner also has a patio that is dog-friendly for anyone looking to have a nice sandwich with their Guinness. The main rule to understand is that dogs must remain on a leash, but this is a great bar to spend a nice Dallas afternoon on the patio with man’s best friend. The kitchen remains open every night until midnight.
Lee Harvey’s

Dallas, TX 75215

Not only does Lee Harvey’s have great drink specials every day, but they have a great menu with everything from bar food to steak and shrimp. The bar is wheelchair accessible, with patio and sidewalk service, and it allows dogs to accompany their owners on Sundays. However, make sure your dog likes cats because Lee Harvey’s has its own house cat, Bacon. The bar is open until 2 a.m. every day.
