This is kind of a new place, a revamped older farmers market in the heart of Dallas. There is a large area of local farmers selling their produce, which includes vegetables, fruits, cheese, honey, meat and other locally made or grown food items. There is also a food court that focuses on locally grown food. On their website, you can look up who is there on a given day and what they are selling. They only have local farmers selling things they have grown themselves. It is open Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

At Edens Organic Garden Center you can get truly organic home grown food. The market is open all day on the first, third and fifth Saturdays of the month from April until December. It also has a community supported agriculture program where you can have fresh vegetables delivered to your home weekly, but you do have to be a member. Most of the vegetables and fruits sold at the weekly market are grown on this farm, but some other local organic farmers also sell there as well. It is in Balch Spings, 15 minutes south of downtown Dallas.
