Not all happy hours are created equal. Some feel more like melancholy hour. We’re only interested in the good ones. We suspect you are too. Here are some of our favorites in Dallas.

Vino 100 Wine Bar

2909 McKinney Ave, Suite A
Dallas, TX 75204

Vino 100 is known for two things: a very good, reasonably priced wine list and a friendly staff. What else could you ask for?

Frankie’s Sports Bar and Grill

3227 McKinney Avenue
Dallas, TX 75204

Like any good sports bar, Frankie’s has what seems like a million TVs. Bill, the owner, is serious about customer service and it shows in every aspect of the place.

City Tavern

1402 Main St
Dallas, TX 75202

How can you go wrong with a bar named City Tavern? It’s even on Main Street. It’s hard to get more All-American than that. The Tavern has a different drink special every night of the week.

The Screen Door is a southern-style restaurant that features a good happy hour Monday through Thursday. Their appetizers are half-off, and they have plenty of drink specials to keep everyone happy.

Blue Mesa Grill

Locations in Dallas, Addison, Plano, Fort Worth, and Southlake

Blue Mesa has a great southwestern menu and a killer happy hour to go with it. There’s no better tequila selection in North Texas. And have you had the sweet potato chips? Amazing.
